Salesforce-backed marketing software developer Gainsight has raised $25m in a series C round that brought its total equity funding to $54m.
US-based sales software producer Gainsight, which is backed by the corporate venturing unit of cloud computing company Salesforce.com, raised $25m in series C funding on Friday.
The investment came from venture capital firms Bessemer Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Gainsight develops software that uses predictive analytics to enhance companies’ customer service, sales and marketing activity. The new capital will be allocated towards research and development.
