Constance Freedman has departed from National Association of Realtors, where she launched a venture capital unit and accelerator, to found an early-stage venture fund.

Constance Freedman, the founder of National Association of Realtors’ venture capital unit, Second Century Ventures (SCV), has founded a US-based early-stage VC fund called Moderne Ventures.

Freedman launched SCV in 2009, subsequently managing it as the Association’s head of strategic investments. She also launched its accelerator, REach, in 2013.

Prior to joining SCV, Freedman was an investor at early and growth-stage investment fund Cue Ball, which focused on the information services and consumer sectors.
