Venture capital firm Foundry Group and an undisclosed strategic investor have participated in a $6m series B round of funding into Spanning Cloud Apps, a US-based developer of backup services for Google’s cloud-based applications, according to a regulatory filing.
The company previously raised $3m in series A funding led by Foundry Group in April 2011.
