M12 has co-led a $30m series B round that also featured existing shareholder Comcast Ventures and will allow FortressIQ to help clients navigate the current economic climate.

FortressIQ, a US-based company that uses artificial intelligence to offer consultancy services, picked up $30m in a series B round co-led by M12, the corporate venturing division of software producer Microsoft, yesterday.

Tiger Global Management co-led the round, which also included Comcast Ventures, the corporate venture capital division of mass media group Comcast, as well as Boldstart Ventures, Eniac Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
