Touch-free interface designer EyeSight, already backed by Ceva and Mistui, has attracted $20m in capital from Chinese conglomerate Kuang-Chi.

Israel-based embedded computer vision technology developer EyeSight Technologies raised $20m in funding on Wednesday from conglomerate Kuang-Chi.

Founded in 2005, EyeSight produces technology that adds touchless gesture control to consumer devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, televisions and virtual reality headsets. The company also offers an internet-of-things platform named Singlecue for the smart home.
