The Google-backed chain of eye hospitals has raised additional funding, from venture capital investors Helion and Nexus and is looking to expand.
The India-based specialist eye hospital chain Eye-Q secured an undisclosed amount of series B funding from venture capital (VC) fund Helion Venture Partners and VC firm Nexus Venture Partners on 10 October.
Eye-Q’s series A round in May 2010 was financed by Song Advisors, the investment firm funded by financier George Soros’ Economic Development Fund, search engine company Google and investment firm Omidyar Network.
