Evive has acquired the medical-treatment comparison platform, which had raised $16.3m in equity and debt financing from investors including Merck GHI.

US-based medical prescription comparison portal WiserTogether has been bought by company benefit oversight service Evive for an undisclosed sum, enabling pharmaceutical firm Merck & Co to exit.

Founded in 2008, WiserTogether runs an online platform where consumers can browse various medical treatments and make comparisons based on their cost-effectiveness and efficacy.

The platform applies context-driven data analytics to suggest medications based on symptoms, existing conditions and insurance claim history. It will be integrated with Evive’s digital health software suite, Evive…
