Spain-based online ticketing platformTicketea has been acquired by US-headquartered peer Eventbrite for an undisclosed sum, providing an exit to leisure and travel-focused e-commerce firm Atrápalo.
Ticketea operates a ticketing portal for live events such as music concerts and theatre productions. It helps organisers promote their events and is primarily active in Spain and Portugal.
