US based Cenx, a company that specifies in carrier ethernet interconnect systems and services has secured an investment from Ericsson, the Sweden-based provider of telecommunications equipment and data communication systems.
Ericsson joinred Cenx’s latest round, which was first revealed in June 2012, which originally raised $9.5m, led by the strategic venture capital arm of US phone operator Verizon, Verizon Investments.
Mesirow Financial Private Equity also participated in the funding and were joined by previous investors DCM and Highland Capital Partners.…
