Steamboat Ventures last month invested in social media gaming company Playdom's series A round but which might lead to an exit to its parent, Disney.
US-based media group Walt Disney is in talks to acquire its corporate venturing-backed portfolio company Playdom for a reported $500m.
Disney’s Steamboat Ventures last month joined the venture consortium that invested an aggregate $76m in the social gaming company’s series A round.
News provider Techcrunch, which revealed the talks between Disney and Playdom, said the company had raised another $4m in seed funding.
