Japan-based Dimer Lab has raised Y28m from SMBC Venture Capital and angel investors.
Dimers Lab has raised Y28m ($320,658) in a round of fundraising by allocation of new shares to SMBC Venture Capital, a venture capital unit of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and several angel investors, as reported on venturenews. Dimers Lab created distance walking app Road+.
Dimers will use the new funds to hire engineers and to develop new features including integrating with Facebook.
Dimers received Y4.5m in seed funding in January last year from Samurai Incubate, a Japan-based seed accelerator.
