SoftBank China Venture Capital has backed 3D computer vision technology developer Deptrum, which is targeting applications ranging from virtual reality to robotics in industries including retail.

China-based 3D computer vision technology developer Deptrum has collected $15m in a series A round co-led by Softbank China Venture Capital, a subsidiary of telecommunication firm SoftBank.

Family office Wu Capital co-led the round, which also featured Beijing ChinaEquity Investment, Northern Light Venture Capital and Green Pine Capital Partners.
