Trinket Info Services, which runs Pune-based food ordering service TastyKhana.com has attracted $5m from existing backer Delivery Hero in a series A round.
German-based Delivery Hero, a company specialising in the food ordering sector, has invested $5m in India-based Trinket Info Services, which owns and runs a domestic online food ordering service called TastyKhana.com. The latest investment is a series A round and follows an undisclosed seed investment backed by Delivery Hero in early 2012.
Niklas Östberg, chief executive officer of Delivery Hero, said in a statement that the company was attracted to TastyKhana because it fits its investment and growth strategy remit.
