Microsoft Ventures has hired Itxaso del Palacio from merchant bank Lefe Partners as an investment partner, and she will oversee European investments from the unit's London office.
Itxaso del Palacio has joined Microsoft Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of US-based software provider Microsoft, as an investment partner, and will be responsible for investments in Europe.
Del Palacio was previously a principal at specialist merchant bank Lefe Partners, where she led VC investments in digital media and consumer technology companies such as festival ticket booking site Festicket and mobile ticketing platform Masabi.
