DeCarta, a maker of geospatial software formerly known as Telcontar, has raised $6.2m of an expected $10.2m series D round from six investors, according to a regulatory filing first seen by news provider VentureBeat.

In 2008, deCarta raised $35m in its series C round, according to news providers, although the company’s website said it had received $20m.
