Salesforce Ventures has taken part in the $17.5m close of the online learning platform developer's series A round, following a $4.5m first tranche early last year.

Peru-based remote education service provider Crehana has raised $17.5m in a series A round featuring Salesforce Ventures, the corporate venturing unit owned by enterprise software supplier Salesforce, Forbes reported yesterday.

Venture capital firm Mountain Nazca led the round, which included Endeavor Catalyst and the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) vehicle. It brought the company’s overall funding to more than $23m.
