NTT Docomo-backed database technology company Couchbase has boosted its total funding to $145m as it heads for an initial public offering.
Couchbase, a US-based database technology provider backed by telecommuniations company NTT Docomo, has raised $30m in a series F round led by private equity firm Sorenson Capital.
The round also featured Accel Partners, Adams Street Partners, Ignition Partners, Mayfield Fund, North Bridge Venture Partners and West Summit.
Couchbase has developed an open-source database for large-scale web, mobile and internet-of-things applications. Its clients include professional networking platform LinkedIn, payments processing service PayPal and security software developer Symantec.
