Salesforce and Telus both backed TechSee, which has built an augmented reality-based platform that facilitates remote technical support for consumer devices.
TechSee, an Israel-headquartered provider of remote technical assistance technology, has closed a $30m series C round co-led by subsidiaries of enterprise software developer Salesforce and telecommunications firm Telus.
Salesforce Ventures and Telus Ventures co-led the round alongside crowdfunding platform OurCrowd, and it included Scale Venture Partners and Planven Entrepreneur Ventures.
Founded in 2015, TechSee has developed augmented reality software that enables technicians to help customers install or repair electronic devices without visiting their property.
