YouMail said it had answered one billion phone calls for its users, including 500 million since September last year, and raised an undisclosed amount.
YouMail, a US-based developer of voicemail services for wireless devices, has raised an undisclosed amount to take its total equity and debt funding since 2007 to $12.5m. Siemer Ventures, a local merchant bank, has invested in YouMail, as well as venture capital firm VantagePoint Capital Partners and Tech Coast Angels.
