The chief executive of Owlient, which makes horse riding games, thanked his backers at France Telecom venturing unit Innovacom for its support as a shareholder.
France-based free-to-play game company Owlient, which is backed by the country’s main phone operator’s corporate venturing unit, has been sold to interactive entertainment company Ubisoft for an undisclosed sum.
In April 2008, France Telecom’s Innovacom backed Owlient, which makes games including Howrse, a horse riding game, with €3m ($4.2m).
