Big data storage systems provider DDN led the data management technology developer's seed round.

UK-based data management software startup Subtree has raised $10m in a seed round led by big data storage system provider DDN Storage.

Founded in 2017, Subtree has launched an open-source program called Dotmesh that helps developers of cloud-based software track and record the data status of their applications.

Dotmesh records the information, including version numbers and application sub-branches, as a so-called Datadot that can be securely kept in Subtree’s cloud-based repository, Dothub, for collaboration.
