Existing investors Cavallo Ventures and Syngenta Ventures returned to reinvest in the crop production technology developer’s series C round.
US-based food technology developer Sound Agriculture completed a $22m series C round yesterday featuring Cavallo Ventures and Syngenta Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiaries of agribusinesses Wilbur-Ellis and Syngenta.
S2G Ventures led the round, which included fellow venture capital firm Cultivian Sandbox and farming and agriculture-focused private equity firm Fall Line Capital.
