Ana Sirbu, a manager at Google Capital who specialised in fintech, has joined working capital provider BlueVine to oversee its financial management and growth strategy.

US-based small business finance provider BlueVine has hired Ana Sirbu, formerly a manager at growth equity fund Google Capital, as its vice-president of finance and strategy.

Sirbu joined Google Capital, a subsidiary of internet and technology conglomerate Alphabet, in 2013 as a senior associate before moving up to a manager position the following year and leading its investments in the fintech sector.
