BMW i Ventures and Workday Ventures were among the backers for the first funding round disclosed by the carpooling app developer.
US-based carpooling app developer Scoop Technologies secured $5.1m on Wednesday in a round featuring the corporate venturing subsidiaries of vehicle manufacturer BMW and enterprise software producer Workday.
BMW i Ventures and Workday Ventures were joined by venture capital fund Signia Venture Partners, which led the round, and VC firm Index Ventures. Other investors and advisors include David Ko, Elizabeth Gore, Paul McDonald, Brett Slatkin, Russ Fradin, Zach Weinberg and Zaw Thet.
