Customer relationship management software producer Salesforce agreed yesterday to acquire portfolio company MapAnything, a US-based geolocation and mapping technology provider, for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2009, MapAnything has developed location-based software that helps businesses manage mobile workers and create routes for commercial fleet operators.
The platform integrates mapping, asset tracking, geo-analytics, real-time traffic updates, weather forecasts and construction plan tools, enabling employees to automatically schedule client meetings based on location.
