Venture capital firms Granite Ventures and Allegis Capital also reinvested in Symplified's latest round, which has taken its total total funding to $18.8m including new backing from Nasdaq-listed Quest Software.

Symplified, a US-based security company for online services, has raised $9.2m in its series B round from a consortium including Nasdaq-listed Quest Software.

Venture capital firms Granite Ventures and Allegis Capital also reinvested in Symplified’s latest round, which has taken its total total funding to $18.8m.

Symplified previously raised $3.5m in May 2009, according to its regulatory filing, and the year before closed on $6m for its series A round from Granite and Allegis, which specializes in building corporate partnerships.…
