In the newly established role, Spector will help accelerate the work at Serendie Street Boston, the company’s digital transformation arm.

Limor Spector has joined Japan-based electrical equipment manufacturer Mitsubishi Electric as senior vice-president, innovation, ventures and commercialisation.
In this newly-established role, she will oversee Serendie Street Boston, the digital transformation arm of Mitsubishi Electric in the Americas, and help accelerate the company’s innovation strategy through AI, venture development, commercialisation and cross-company collaboration.
“Limor’s leadership will be instrumental in helping us shift mindsets, strengthen our venture and commercialisation capabilities, and create stronger connections across our organisation,” shared Michael Corbo, president and chief executive at Mitsubishi Electric US.

Spector will oversee a collaborative hub designed to advance research and emerging technologies for Mitsubishi Electric and its partners. Spector is looking to accelerate this work and tie it in more seamlessly across the organisation.
“Mitsubishi Electric has been known for delivering reliable, high-quality products and solutions for more than a century. Where we take that expertise next will impact the manufacturing industry for years to come. Our work at Serendie Street will help shape a new culture of innovation across the company, accelerating progress from concept to commercialisation,” she said.
Spector was previously president, licensing and ventures at GE Vernova, where she led technology commercialisation, venture creation, strategic partnerships and intellectual property monetisation initiatives.
