Computer vision and IoT technology developer Pensees has received $22.5m from investors including Foxconn and Qihoo 360.

China-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology developer Pensees Technology has closed a RMB150m ($22.4m) series A round featuring contract electronics manufacturer Foxconn and cybersecurity technology producer Qihoo 360.

Pensees is developing computer vision and internet-of-things technologies for use in sectors like smart manufacturing and security. It will put the funding into strengthening its hardware, software and algorithms.
