The big data analytics company, which counts RELX among its investors, has now raised $680m in a round that values it at $20bn.

Palantir Technologies, the US-based big data technology producer backed by investors including information and analytics provider RELX, has raised an additional $125m in funding, according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday.

The company’s latest round, which it began raising in July this year, now totals $680m. It reached a $555m second close in October, and Palantir is raising the money at a $20bn valuation.
