The cloud storage company boosted its overall funding to $35m in a series C round backed by smartphone maker Micromax.
Smartphone manufacturer Micromax Informatics has invested in MiMedia, the US-based operator of a cloud storage service, as part of the latter’s $15m series C round.
Thorney Investment Group, Whitebarn Associates and R&R Venture Partners also participated in the round.
MiMedia, which was founded in 2009, has built a cloud-based storage system for photos, videos, music and files it claims is safe and accessible.
