Meraki Networks, a US-based developer of wireless networking services, has raised $15m in series C round led by venture capital (VC) firm Sequoia Capital.

The company now has raised $40m from Sequoia, VC peers DAG Ventures and Northgate Capital and search engine group Google. The company’s previous round was $20m in January 2008 and $5m in January 2009 from Sequoia, angel investors and Google, which was using its wireless connections.
