Lisa Lambert, a vice-president at Intel Capital until last week and #1 on GCV's January Rising Stars list, has taken a managing partner position at venture firm Westly Group.
Lisa Lambert, a vice-president at Intel Capital, semiconductor maker Intel’s corporate venturing unit, until last Friday, has officially joined venture capital firm Westly Group as managing partner.
Lambert, ranked #1 on Global Corporate Venturing’s Rising Stars list in January this year, was managing director of Intel Capital’s Software and Services Fund as well as the $125m Intel Capital Diversity Fund.
As managing partner, Lambert will invest in high-growth software, internet and internet-of-things companies on behalf of Westly Group, which as a whole focuses on sustainable technology investments.

Lambert was a manager in Intel’s Desktop Products Group before taking up a position at Intel Capital in 1999. She left the company on the same day as another Intel Capital vice-president, Marcos Battisti.
