IDG Capital Partners, an investment affiliate of technology media company International Data Group, has participated in a $10m series B round for China-based interior design company Kujiale, Technode reported today.

The round was led by GGV Capital and also included Hearst Ventures, the corporate venturing unit owned by media company Hearst, as well as social network operator Jingwei, Matrix Partners and Yunqi Partners.

Kujiale operates an online platform with interior design information and enables users to generate design sketches. The company had reportedly raised RMB10m ($1.6m) in series A funding from IDG.

The series B capital will be used for research and, as well as marketing efforts.
