The Intel-backed party planning website has raised an extra tranche of financing from unnamed backers.

US-based party planning website Punchbowl, formerly known as Punchbowl Software, secured $580,000 of a planned $1m, on the 2nd of September, from undisclosed investors.

Intel Capital participated in Punchbowl’s series A round, which raised $2.1m, in September 2008. Venture capital firms Contour Venture Partners and eCoast Angels also participated. Intel Capital and eCoast also invested in Punchbowl’s October 2007 seed round.
