PHP app development tool provider Zend Technologies has been bought by Rogue Wave Software for an undisclosed sum, providing an exit to Intel Capital.

Rogue Wave Software, a supplier of software development tools, has acquired US-based app development technology provider Zend Technologies, giving an exit to semiconductor manufacturer Intel’s corporate venturing unit, Intel Capital.

Founded in 1999, Zend offers development and deployment technology for web and mobile applications created in the PHP programming language. Rogue Wave is buying the company to extend its own range of services. The amount it is paying has not been revealed.
