Sumeet Jain and Carey Lai have left Intel Capital and will act as general partners for Luma Capital Partners, a $100m fund formed by advisory firm Luma Partners.

US-based strategic advisory firm Luma Partners has launched a venture capital fund called Luma Capital Partners, Fortune reported on Friday.

Luma Capital Partners will be run by Sumeet Jain and Carey Lai, both of which were directors at Intel Capital, the corporate venturing subsidiary of semiconductor technology supplier Intel, until earlier this month.
