Smartling has raised $10m in its series B round and plans to invest the money in expanding its web translation service.
IDG Ventures, the venture capital division of US-based media and technology conglomerate the International Data Group, is among the investors to have participated in the US-based web translation service Smartling’s $10m series B funding round.
Other backers in the round were existing investors, the US-based venture capital firms US Venture Partners, Venrock and First Round Capital. All three contributed to Smartling’s series A round, which raised $4.1m in March 2010.
