MDI Ventures has exited Sonar Platform, developer of a social media marketing platform, in an acquisition by Dataxet.

Data intelligence provider Dataxet has paid an undisclosed sum to acquire Indonesia-based influencer management platform developer Sonar Platform, allowing telecommunications company Telkom Group to exit, Marketing Interactive reported yesterday.

Sonar Platform has built a cloud-based platform that enables users to manage the discovery of social media influencers as well as manage influencer-led marketing campaigns. It raised an undisclosed amount from Telkom Group’s corporate venturing unit, MDI Ventures, in 2016.
