Vaha, a Germany-based home fitness mirror producer backed by carmaker Porsche, has been acquired by health support system provider Bioniq for an undisclosed amount. Its corporate venture capital unit, Porsche Ventures, took part in a single-digit euro round for Vaha in March 2020 that was led by Unbound and also backed by HV Capital and Global Founders Capital.
Cobalt, a US-based provider of risk and data services for foreign exchange markets, has been purchased by financial information provider FactSet for an undisclosed sum. The company had raised undisclosed amounts from financial services firm Citi in 2016, consultancy First Derivatives and VC firm Digital Currency Group the following year, exchange operator Singapore Exchange in 2018, financial information provider IHS Markit in 2019 (prior to its merger with S&P Global in 2022) and financial services firm Standard Chartered in mid-2020.
Financial risk mitigation group Euroclear has paid an undisclosed sum to buy Goji, a UK-based peer-to-peer lending platform backed by insurer Axa. Corporate VC unit Axa Strategic Ventures had taken part in a “multimillion pound” (£1m = $1.4m) round for Goji in 2018 that was led by VC firm Anthemis.
Inofab Health, a Turkey-based developer of digital health technology for respiratory diseases, has been acquired by primary care provider Carbon Health for an undisclosed amount, allowing clinical data aggregator ERT Clinical and telecommunications equipment manufacturer Karel Electronics to exit. They both invested an undisclosed sum in Inofab in June 2020 at a $15m valuation.
Fund management group Lloyd has acquired portfolio company Growney, the Germany-based operator of an online investment platform, for an undisclosed amount. It had invested an undisclosed sum in Growney in November 2021.
