Comerica Bank joins the BookRenter consortium as a new investor along with venture capital firms Focus Ventures, Lighthouse Capital Partners, Adams Capital Management, Norwest Venture Partners and Storm Ventures.

BookRenter, a US-based online textbook rental company, has raised $40m in its series C round just eight months after closing $10m for its B round.

Comerica Bank joined the consortium as a new investor along with venture capital firms Focus Ventures, Lighthouse Capital Partners, Adams Capital Management, Norwest Venture Partners and Storm Ventures. The company previously had raised $6m, according to news provider PEhub.
