Bloomberg Beta and BBG Ventures, respective subsidiaries of media group Bloomberg and online media company AOL, have contributed to a $7.5m series B round for US-based mobile communication technology developer GoTenna that was led by Union Square Ventures and backed by Walden Venture Capital, MentorTech Ventures and Collaborative Fund. GoTenna has now raised $17m in total, with Bloomberg Beta, BBG, Walden, MentorTech and Wareness.io having invested in its $7.5m series A round in March 2016.
