Comcast Ventures and DCM have participated in a $13m Series A round of Skype TV-calling start-up company Tely Labs.

Comcast Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of the US-based media company, has invested in Skype-calling-on-your-TV startup Tely Labs. Early stage venture capital firm, DCM, also participated in the Series A round of funding. Tely Labs raised $13m of a $15m round according to a new filing with the SEC.

Tely Labs, which was founded in 2010, offers users HD systems to make Skype calls to their TV with no monthly fee.
