BBVA, New York Stock Exchange, NTT Docomo and USAA could be in line to exit the crypto trading platform developer, which was valued at $8bn two years ago.
Coinbase, the US-based cryptocurrency trading platform operator that counts corporates New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), NTT Docomo, BBVA and USAA as investors, filed confidentially for an initial public offering yesterday.
The company has not disclosed the domestic market on which it plans to list its shares, but the prospective offering is expected to net it a valuation significantly higher than the $8bn post-money valuation at which it secured $300m in funding in late 2018.
