Cleveland HeartLab reportedly takes its total venture funds raised two years since its spin-out to $21.4m.

Cleveland HeartLab, a heart testing company which span out from US-based healthcare company Cleveland Clinic, has raised $18.4m in venture funding.

Venture firms Excel Venture Management and Healthcare Ventures led the series B round. Cleveland HeartLab, span off from Cleveland Clinic in 2009. In 2010 Cleveland HeartLab received $3m from Glengary, Zapis Capital Group and Second Generation, according to news provide Xconomy.
