The big database developer, which counts Digital Garage among its investors, secured new funding in a round led by Khosla Ventures.
Citus Data, a US-based big data technology developer backed by internet company Digital Garage, raised $9.5m on Wednesday in a series A round led by venture capital firm Khosla Ventures.
Khosla was joined in the round by existing investors including Data Collective and Vaizra Investments. Ari Zilka, a partner at Khosla Ventures, will join the company’s board of directors in conjunction with the funding.
Citus has created a database capable of powering real-time analytic and operational workloads on big data.…
