JouleX, which has had previous investment from Cisco, has been acquired by the computer network server company for $107m.
Computer network server company Cisco Systems has agreed to acquire US-based JouleX, a provider of enterprise energy management solutions for network-attached and data centre assets, for $107m in cash and retention-based incentives. The deal is expected to close in the forth quarter.
JouleX had raised $17m in funding in 2011 from corporate venturing unit Intel Corp and venture capial firms Target Partners, Flybridge Capital Partners, Sigma Partners and TechOperators.
