Compass EOS aims for $20m in latest round of funding from Cisco Systems and venture capital firms.

Compass EOS, an Israel-based network equipment maker backed by US peer Cisco Systems, is reportedly preparing to close its latest round at $20m.

Israeli newspaper Globes said Singapore private equity fund Crescent Point Group was leading the round as a new investor, with existing backers participating.

Compass has previously raised $35m from venture capital firms Pitango Venture Capital, Benchmark Capital and North Bridge Venture Partners as well as Cisco since its launch in 2005.
