Monk's Hill Ventures, which secured capital from Yahoo Japan last month, has signed up Cisco and Temasek as limited partners for its first fund.
US-based networking technology provider Cisco has contributed to an $80m fund raised by Singapore-based venture capital firm Monk’s Hill Ventures, Deal Street Asia has reported.
Cisco was joined by Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek. Monk’s Hill’s other limited partners for its first fund include YJ Capital, the corporate venturing arm of internet company Yahoo Japan, which committed capital last month.
Monk’s Hill focuses on Southeast Asian technology companies, as well as Silicon Valley startups aiming to expand in the region.…
