Atlantis Computing gains $10m from three investors, including peer Cisco Systems.

Computer network server company Cisco Systems has joined the $10m series C round of Atlantis Computing, a US-based provider of virtual desktop infrastructure storage.

Atlantis had previously been funded by venture capital firms Partech International and El Dorado Ventures, which also co-led the C round with Cisco.

A regulatory filing said Atlantis had raised about $3m in 2008.

Cisco has acquired more than 150 companies and incubates or funds companies in $1bn+ markets.
