Semiconductor maker Cavendish Kinetics has raised $7m in a round featuring Qualcomm Ventures, bringing the total raised by the company up to $32.5m.

US-based semiconductor manufacturer Cavendish Kinetics closed a $7m series C round on Tuesday that featured Qualcomm Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of technology equipment maker Qualcomm.

The round was co-led by venture capital firms Tallwood Venture Capital and Wellington Partners.

Cavendish provides high-performance radio frequency (RF) tuning solutions for mobile devices. The funding will be used to support Cavendish’s product line, following the company’s first commercial product launch earlier this year.
